Team
The people behind every stage
Twelve people take enterprise AI from an open question to a shipped, governed production system: Shaun Applegate-Swanson and Mark Cicoria as BridgeTek's VPs of Data Science and Software Engineering, plus ten data scientists, researchers and senior AI engineers they have worked with previously, who deliver our services as consultants. The same people staff every stage.

What each of them brings
One line for each of the twelve people introduced above:
- Standing up a data science function from zero
- AI infrastructure and platform engineering
- Deep tech, quantum, and R&D credibility in the room
- Fluency at the prototype stage of a sales cycle and in production code
- Transforming an existing engineering org into an agent-native one
- Production hardening and security architecture
- Evaluation frameworks, entity resolution, trust & safety at platform scale
- GenAI capability transferred to your team
- Staff-level product engineering and risk-managed migration
- Data strategy, governance and change management that lands
- Energy, utilities, and data science teams that ship production code
- Research rigor and complexity science
After a discovery call, we match one or two of these forward-deployed experts to your specific problem — named, and ready to meet directly.
Some of them also publish their research in BridgeTek Labs: meet the Lab authors.

A sample of their work
Five examples of shipped work:
Financial services
Agentic compliance automation: a multi-agent system automating a fraud and sanctions investigation workflow for a large financial institution.
Energy & utilities
Bottom-up ML forecasting pipeline for a state grid-electrification study, findings submitted to the California Public Utilities Commission.
Trust & safety
7.5 years building ML detection systems for spam and coordinated inauthentic behavior at X/Twitter, then cross-platform at Meta.
Applied research
Principal investigator on a $5.8M DoD-funded evaluation of quantum algorithm advantage at Carnegie Mellon, via the IBM Quantum Network.
GPU infrastructure
GPU cloud observability platform built end to end (scheduler, GPU and node health, fabric, storage, tracing unified into one multi-tenant platform) on production infrastructure already carrying customers, off a legacy monitoring stack. First production release in 2 weeks against a hard external deadline, with no window in which the fleet went unseen.
Shipped work by the team, before and since BridgeTek.
Leadership
